Margaretha Gubernale

Margaretha Gubernale, born on June 9, 1941, in Zug, Switzerland, where she has her studio and she has been active for nearly 45 years participating in exhibitions worldwide. She has been featured in numerous art books and magazines and has received many art awards. Margaretha Gubernale sought a method of representation that would harmoniously combine physical and spiritual ideas in figurative and symbolic form. This style allows her to expand the meaning of her metaphysical parables beyond all bounds. She simultaneously utilizes surrealist, abstract, and figurative elements to connect everything on earth with heaven. Therefore, she enjoys using the pure and airy colour blue in many facets of emotion and intellect. Furthermore, her artistic work contains technical elements that help emphasize the main idea. The sources of her paintings are nature, philosophy, and music. picture: Three planets in the primary colours blue, red, yellow; umbilical cord to Earth; on the moon the last broken grain; the excavator
