ABY GOLDEN LADY B
A French-Senegalese artist with a passion for theater, transformed by New York into a renowned photographer who affectionately nicknamed her Golden Lady B. As a New York photographer and universal poet, she is a free spirit, using art to defend a different vision of the world, rooted in creativity, reciprocity, and boundless energy. Her work fluidly oscillates between photography, poetry, and theater, forming what she calls living archives: a continuous weaving of images, words, and performances that document both intimate and collective stories. In her photographs, the everyday becomes extraordinary: a phrase on a T-shirt, a fleeting glance, the choreography of strangers passing each other. In her plays, humour and tragedy intersect to explore power, resistance, and human connections.
