Christine Terres
I am based in Ireland and Italy and have been creating art through photography for over two decades. I have a background in architectural, landscape and geotechnical graphics, and I enjoy exploring and manipulating natural and manmade subjects. I am particularly interested in harnessing patterns from both micro and macro perspectives. My recent series include: The Architecture of Faith, a visual reconstruction of churches and cathedrals; Structures of Play, a transformation of eye-catching scenes from everyday life; Through the Microscope, a series that projects the idiosyncrasies of flowers and floral arrangements; Cityscapes, skylines and silhouettes brought to life; and Botanicals, a focus on the elegance of flowers.
