TONE Aaness
Tone Aaness b. 1973 is a Norwegian Contemporary Painter and Performance Artist with an International Career. She lives in North Norway. She has during these last years participated in London Art Biennale, Florence Biennale of Art and Design, Cannes Biennale and Biennal de Barcelona. She has had the great joy of taking part in International Saloon d`Arte Contemporraine in Carrousel de Louvre, Paris, France and ARTEXPO in New York, USA. In 2022 she had the wonderful opportunity exhibiting with names such as Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali in a Gallery on Manhattan New York.
She has Classical Training under figurative Artist Tor Kvarv after old Renaissance Techniques. She has later attended Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy and Gothenburg, Sweden. She is known for her solo exhibitions with an original approach to a theme undergoing an examination in her overall artistic expression. In such a case she has used her power as a Performance Artist and transformed herself into as examples a Bird, a Clown or a Hat-maker. She is widely recognised for her art in galleries and museums throughout the world.
She has been selected for her outstanding performance in art for numeral international prizes this last year. Recently, receiving the great honour of having the International Prize Leonardo da Vinci in Milan.
