My artwork pursues creative imagination and close contact with reality, blending concreteness with abstractness, containing multicultural elements, holding humanistic connotation and aesthetic taste. My artwork ”Flying Peacock” depicts a rare scene of nature. It integrates concrete, abstract, personified and idealized elements, containing rich cultural and aesthetic implications. ”Encounter” focuses on the moment a pair of natural enemies encounter each other. In a personified way, it creates a dramatic scenario which holds story, interest and philosophical thinking. Every creature is one link in biological chain of nature, restricting each other. Dialectical thinking is involved in this artwork. ”Laughter in the dream” is rich in multicultural elements. The person in shore, Zhuangzi with the wings of a butterfly and the infant are all in their dreams. Whose dream do the scene of this painting belong to? What stories are behind the smiling faces? It is meaningful and thought-provoking. In ”Beauty of Desert”, the yellowish-brown sand sea miraculously changes into an elegant and mysterious beauty who holds crescent moon spring in her hand, with the desert castle as her crown. The rosy desert magically changes into a fairy maiden who is beside the beauty with a harp. This artwork blends myths, humanistic elements and natural phenomena, offering the space for contemplation, recollection and imagination.
