My artistic path is a mix of passions and learning in which the university training represents the starting point of this path mainly inspired by the seventh art. Still-images of significant scenes, iconic faces, bodies in pose are the constants of most of my works that I create initially with a pencil sketch to move, later, to the digital dimension, where the possibilities of finding the best rendering of the chosen subject are extended. The processing of images takes place, necessarily, moving from understanding the visual narrative to that in which I pay attention to other aspects of the film, such as photography, colors, shots. The study and interest in cinema and passion for artistic expression, through drawing, are at the base of my works through which I rework what comes from the enjoyment of films, considered not as moments of pure entertainment but as opportunities for cultural or interior growth. The intention is to pay tribute to the seventh art, the intensity and beauty of its visual stories and its performers. Sometimes, though, I take other paths and try to explore other expressive forms when I’m engaged in the execution of patterns, inspired by flowers or plants, which I sometimes use as backgrounds of my artworks.
