In my latest research, Funerary Art, I want to express that it celebrates in a certain way, the existence of Another World for Another Life... It is both pain and hope, a place of recollection and meditation, for our earthly attachment and our spiritual elevation! If by personal experience I am convinced of another Life after our earthly Death, I totally understand that one may not agree with this vision of "things"... You will also be able to note that in its material elements, this research is in the continuity of my research on the Perception of Nature... with the mineral, the vegetable. Moreover, philosophically also, this research on Funeral is indeed the continuity of that on Nature and Light!... Beyond the subject of Creation, I try to capture an image of the sensation and emotion that emerges from it ... a bit like a subliminal image that the vision would not reveal! To summarize my artistic project, it is to give a "physical" reality to the images, by the "presence" of these and by the intimacy of our relationship with these entities of Nature ... The Four Elements are also treated as being a constituent part of the Creation . My images of skies and water are an evocation of this... The Naked Human presented as well, reminds us that we are an integral part of Creation and Nature, in its osmosis with them! Michel Audebert
