We are proud to announce the El Greco Fine Arts Award, an international recognition curated by ICM Gestora Cultural to commemorate the visionary legacy of El Greco, the Greek-Spanish master whose bold, expressive, and deeply personal style reshaped the language of art.

More than four centuries after his time, El Greco continues to inspire generations of artists with his emotional intensity, elongated forms, and dramatic contrasts. This award seeks to honor contemporary creators who embody that same spirit of individuality, innovation, and artistic courage.

This is not an open call. Only artists hand-selected by the ICM Curatorial Board are eligible for the award. These are creators whose work reflects the uniqueness and expressive force reminiscent of El Greco’s unmistakable style.

  • This prestigious award is a tribute to the daring spirit of El Greco, and to the contemporary artists who, like him, forge their own path in art through imagination, emotion, and fearless individuality.

  • This is not an open call. Artists cannot apply. Only those selected by the ICM Curator Board are eligible. Recognition through the El Greco – Art Award is a mark of excellence, awarded solely to artists chosen for their originality, vision, and contribution to the evolution of contemporary art.

  • ICM Gestora Cultural has selected you for the El Greco Fine Arts Award in recognition of the personality, creativity, and originality of your unique artistic style.

Awarded Artists Pack:

  • Inclusion in the hardcover, museum-quality book:
    El Greco – Art Award, featuring a full-page spread dedicated to each selected artist.
    The book will be internationally distributed through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major retailers.

  • Online Catalogue Feature
    All awardees will be included in the digital catalogue hosted by ICM for global viewing and archival.

  • Digital Commemorative Badge
    Each awarded artist will also receive a commemorative digital badge to celebrate and showcase their recognition as a recipient of the El Greco – Art Award.

  • Certificate of Achievement

The El Greco Fine Arts Award is more than a recognition—it is a celebration of bold, independent artistic voices who carry forward
the spirit of one of history’s most radical and enduring masters.

Participation Fee: € 145 (no extra or hidden fees).
Option to include a copy of the book with your participation for only € 20.
