Luana Stebule
I am an internationally recognised artist. Since 2013, I have been living and creating in the United Kingdom. I was born in Lithuania in 1962. I finished A. Martinaitis Art School and Academy of Art. I have had 22 solo and 76 exhibitions in Europe: Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, as well as in England, Japan and the United States. I artworks have been selected for more than 20 art books and art anthologies, and I have also received numerous awards and prizes. In 2024, I was selected into a prestigious art catalogue, the "Unicatalog, the Universal Catalog of Modern Art 2024" I am pleased to be among famous artists as Andy Warhol, Amadeo Modigliani and others. In 2023, by the World of Art Magazine, I was published in the book "Top 10 Contemporary Artists 2023" My inspirations come from the outside world: travels, art, music, history, also from inside, I usually listen to my inner voice and follow intuition. I primarily work with oil on canvas, but also utilise mixed media techniques, including collages, oil pastels, watercolours and acrylic. My artworks are characterised by structured compositions, often multi-layered, employing contrasting calm and saturated colours. I was recognised for my unique artistic style that blends Aboriginal art, surrealism, geometry, and minimalism. The majority of my current artworks have an Abstract figurative style. To create in this manner, I discovered during the COVID period it is an entirely new way to draw human figures, nature and other objects.
