Josip Rubes
Josip Rubes is a Croatian painter, was born in Jastrebarsko 1942. He live in Croatian Zagorje, a region known for its thermal springs. Rubes is known for landscape painting. In 2012. he graduated in painting at Arthouse College of Visual Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Since then he has painted in an abstract style inspired by J. Pollock painting. For the last few years he has been painting geometric abstractions. He has received several international awards for his abstract painting. My style of painting, and especially geometric abstraction, requires the precision of the performance of certain geometric bodies and lines, the imagination in composing the composition, the exceptional concentration in combining colors.
